Cardio with no weight training is hurting you, not helping you!
The lack of awareness of how important muscle is, especially to populations who have injuries and even more so people who are older is far too high.
Muscle is a highly important feature to keeping a sustained and elevated metabolism that helps you with a variety of things. Such as picking up groceries, going up the stairs and keeping up with your kids or grandkids. Many people are fearful of looking like a bodybuilder or too muscular, and that is far from the truth.
Unless you are training like a bodybuilder, eating like a bodybuilder, and even more so implementing Bodybuilder protocol, you will not look this way!
Do you notice how much of the population that is 60 and older that is constantly acquiring injuries/aches and pains such as rotator cuff tears, weak posture, broken bones with six months to one year of recovery just to get back to normal?
This is all preventable by simply incorporating, weight training, and a healthy eating regimen.
